The Tyrannosaurus lived about seventy to sixty-six million years ago and was a huge carnivore, growing up to fourteen meters long and weighing eight tons. The first fossil of Tyrannosaurus was discovered in 1874. In 1905, the type species of the genus was named: Tyrannosaurus rex "The King Tyransaur". Other species with the genus were later named, but T-rex is usually regared as the only true species. 32 adult T-rex skeletons have been found in recent years, giving scientists a good idea of that the animal looked like. The skeletons are worth millions. This sculpture is a baby Tyrannosaurus called "Baby T-rex" and is limited to 8 pieces.
