TALES OF TILES
Every tile is a unique, handcrafted ceramic piece, intricately fashioned to tell its own story, echoing the whispers of ancient civilizations. Inspired by the artists of antiquity, these tiles are adorned with motifs and patterns that harken back to a time when craftsmanship was revered an every creation held meaning.
Together, they form a breathtaking mosaic, a cohesive artwork that transcend mere decoration. Much like the way diverse element in life intertwine, joy and sorrow, chaos and tranquility, these tiles come together to achieve ultimate balance. Each piece contributes its own voice to the collective chorus, inviting viewers to delve into a narrative rich with history and emotion.
HANDMADE
Before each tile is created, it begins with a story or meaning. Inspiration comes from culture, memories, symbolism, spirituality, nature and history. Some tiles carry a single message, while others contain multiple layers of meaning.
Bart translates these stories into visual forms and symbols. Each design is carefully sculpted by hand in clay. The clay is then fired and finished using specialized techniques.
This process gives every tile its unique texture, depth, and character. Each tile becomes a small artwork with its own identity and story. Together, the individual tiles connect and form a larger composition.
This collection of stories creates the visual language of: Tales of Tiles.
